Gemco was started in 1985 by John Pugh as General Engineering and Manufacturing Company, mainly manufacturing stainless steel fittings for the dairy and food industries, Tee’s Reducers Expansion flanges etc. along with general engineering and did so until 2004 when Johns son Glen come on board in about 2006 we purchased Harry Brown engineering and shifted Gemco into Hamilton from Huntly. Not long after Glen Purchased a waterjet cutter and a couple of years after purchased a new CNC plasma cutter to keep up with demand and have since then GEMCO has become a one stop engineering shop from design to finished product..
